1956 All Blacks jersey worn by Bob Duff. # 10 jersey with white number to verso, made by Canterbury with Silver fern badge sewn on. Importantly come with letter of Authenticity from Bob Duff. Duff played in all 4 tests and was captain in the 3rd and 4th. He also just wore # 10 in the 3rd and 4th tests (The ones where the ABs won the series).
His letter; 1 August 1994/ Dear Johann, I enclose a jersey I wore in one of the test in the series against South Africa in 1956. Also enclosed is a souvenir booklet of that tour. I hope that they will use to you/ Kindest Regards/ Bob Duff. On RH Duff Chartered Accountant letterhead.
In excellent condition. Some small fraying on the cotton number. 1956 jerseys are very rare.
